Welcome!

This blog will act as a supplement to my stories on FanFiction.Net. There are dozens of excerpts, notes and pictures saved on my computer, and it's high time they are properly united with the stories they helped shape in one way or another.

The most in-depth type of posts will be the commentaries, which will be my way of explaining the choices I made for each chapter, the writing process and anything else that came up as that segment of the story unfolded. Think of it like the commentaries by directors or actors that you can switch on and off when you're watching a DVD. Reading them is definitely not crucial to understanding the story, but if you want to know a little more about how everything came together, hopefully these posts will give a little more insight into what was going on in my head and on my computer as a chapter came together.

Because I tend to work a long time on each chapter, in between story updates and commentaries will be shorter, lighter posts of any pictures or songs I come across that either reminded me of the story I'm working on or inspired me to take it in a new direction. I plan to upload a ton of pics related to people, places or scenes that I describe in a story, like the clothes people are wearing in a particular scene (a very, very important point for me). Chances are these pictures won't be exactly what I was envisioning and trying to portray, but hopefully they'll give a general sense of what I was aiming for.

This will also be the site for excerpts or alternate scenes/endings. Though I may blush in embarrassment to publish some poorly written scraps, they were part of the story once and deserve to be recognized as such. For anyone unhappy with how a story does turn out (hopefully, not too many people!), these excerpts might offer some consolation. For those perfectly content, they might expose how things could have gone so terribly wrong. Either way, I think putting them out there will definitely add another dimension to tracing the evolution of a story.

But at the end of the day, it's still all about the stories and the chapters that go live on FanFiction.Net. My wish is for this blog to help me stay focused on my stories by providing a place to collect and organize my thoughts and inspirations. I hope you're all excited as I am for what's to come!
